Virtual staging vs traditional staging
Physical staging puts real furniture in the home for showings. Virtual staging puts it in the photos, where most buyers first see the home. They solve different problems and many listings use both.
Compared
| Virtual staging | Traditional staging | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Paid once, per photo or per room | Rental, delivery and setup, often monthly |
| Time | Minutes | Days to schedule and install |
| Changes | Swap a piece and render again | Move or replace real furniture |
| In-person showings | Rooms are empty | Rooms are furnished |
Where 3D changes the comparison
The usual objection to virtual staging is that it looks invented: furniture at the wrong size, or different in every photo. Staging the room in 3D with real products answers both.
